ROHS Solution

The Directive 2002/95/EC (ROHS Directive) on Restricting the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Electrical Equipment, which came into effect on July 1, 2006, is a "green revolution" in the electronic industry. It is the first time that people begin to pay attention to the control of hazardous substances in electronic products. With the deepening understanding of the Directive, the revision of the Directive has also been put on the agenda. ROHS 2.0 (2011/65/EU), which came into effect on July 21, 2011, further revises the scope of control and exemption and lists HBCDD, DEHP, DBP and BBP as priority controls. From January 3, 2013, ROHS 2.0 will replace ROHS completely and be enforced.

Our services:

According to the regulations, the maximum allowable limit concentration of cadmium 100PPM, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in all homogeneous materials of electronic and electrical products required by ROHS directive are 1000PPM, respectively. We can provide ROHS detection and report accordingly.

We can provide ROHS XRF rapid scanning method, which is a fast, non-contact non-destructive analysis method. It can preliminarily screen the restricted substances of ROHS in products, and then carry out wet chemical quantitative detection of the screened high-risk materials.

We can also provide ROHS restricted substance testing services in the US SB20/50, California 65 (AB1109), H.R. 2420, China's "Regulations on Pollution Control and Management of Electronic Information Products", and other countries.

REACH Solution

In May 2007, the European Union promulgated the REACH Regulation, which is considered to be the most important regulation of the European Union in the past 20 years, namely the EC/1907/2006 Regulation on Registration, Assessment, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. This chemical regulation was formally implemented in the European Union on June 1, 2007, and the object of control is chemicals, i.e. chemical substances, so it covers almost all industries, covering all walks of life. Every industry has had a far-reaching impact. REACH regulations require manufacturers and importers to fulfill their obligations to register, restrict, authorize and notify products sold in the European market. At the same time, the list of SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern), which includes carcinogenic, teratogenic, reproductive toxicity and bioaccumulation, is published in batches, and the control and restriction of SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern) are more targeted in order to protect human health.

Our services:

According to the latest list of high-concern substances, products are tested, so that enterprises can identify the components and concentration of high-concern substances in products.

We can prepare product safety technical specifications (SDS) for customers to assist enterprises to provide product safety information to downstream users and ensure product safety during storage, transportation and use.

WEEE Solution

The EU Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment, which came into effect on August 13, 2005, requires the responsibility of producers after the scrap of electronic products, such as providing margin for recycling, providing relevant product information to recycling centers, registering with the local countries where the products are listed, and regularly declaring the number of listings and recycling rate. If the producer fails to assume the corresponding responsibilities as required by the laws and regulations of the corresponding member states, the products of the producer cannot enter the market of that country.

Our services:

We can help enterprises to provide product recycling information, evaluate product recycling performance and issue corresponding recycling reports.

We can verify and report the WEEE trash bin recycling label in accordance with the requirements of standard EN50419.

Battery directive

Batteries contain lead, cadmium, mercury, acid, alkali and other pollutants. When they are discarded arbitrarily in the environment, they will cause serious harm to the ecological environment and human health. Therefore, the limitation of harmful substances in batteries and the recycling and reuse of waste batteries have attracted wide attention from all walks of life.

Relevant regulations and our services:

EU Directive 2006/66/EC on Batteries and Storage Batteries stipulates the responsibilities of battery manufacturers, recovery details, recovery rates, battery marking patterns, as well as restrictive substances such as lead, cadmium and mercury content requirements and related exemptions.

The restrictive substance requirements are as follows:

1. Batteries and batteries with mercury content exceeding 0.0005% and cadmium content exceeding 0.002% are prohibited from being sold.

2. Button batteries containing less than 2% mercury can be exempted.

3. The requirement that the cadmium content of batteries should not exceed 0.002% is not suitable for emergency lamp and alarm system.

All batteries, batteries and battery packs must be labeled "separately collected", except the European Union, the United States, China, Canada, Japan and Australia have introduced their own battery laws. We can provide testing services for battery-limited substances in other countries, including the European Union, and test battery labels according to the requirements of the directive.

PAHS

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) are a class of hydrocarbons with certain volatility. They can enter the human body through breathing, skin, food, drinking water and other channels. At present, there are 30 kinds of PAH which are confirmed to be carcinogenic. Among them, benzopyrene (Bap) is a strong carcinogen, so there will be more stringent restrictions on Bap.

Relevant regulations and our services:

On April 1, 2008, GS test mandatory joined the PAHS test requirements, the current need to control the PAHS has been updated to 18 kinds.

In addition to the restrictions of GS testing in Germany, many other countries and regions have imposed restrictions on it, such as Reach, California 65, the German Risk Assessment Commission (BfR) recommending the content of PAH in consumer goods, etc. We can provide PAHS testing and one-stop GS certification scheme for your finished products and materials to help you further expand the international market professionally and efficiently.
