Thailand NTC certification profile

Thai National Communications Commission NTC (National Telecommunication Commission of Thailand) for telecommunications equipment, telecommunications terminal equipment and wireless products, has set a clear specification restrictions, since July 1, 2008, for telecommunications equipment, telecommunications terminal equipment, the original for Mobile communication products, both mandatory norms will be extended to wireless-related products.

NTC authentication mode

Class A Approval

Class A products must be tested in the NTC designated laboratory and the NTC required data provided after the login number and certification.

Class B Approval

SDST Declaration of Conformity (SDoC)
This part of the product certification for the voluntary model, must be made by the local representative of Thailand SDoC form filled with technical documents submitted to the NTC for future reference.
The application requires a local representative and the local representative must have a supplier code and apply in Thai.
Basically, the certification time is 4 to 5 weeks. Sample requirements are required in Class A, which must be provided in Class B for sometimes compliance requirements. SDoC mode is not required.
Which for WiFi products (such as 802.11b / g or 802.11a / b / g), are classified in SDoC.
